To the confusion/bewilderment of my family, I beatbox. Over the past ~16 years, I've competed and performed across the nation:
—COMPETITIONS: First-place winner of regional Harmony Sweeps (Sidenote); Two-time winner of Chicago SingStrong (Buck That!); Two-time first-place winner at regional ICCAs (Medleys, Buck That!); two-time second-place winner at ICCAs semi-finals (same groups); other competitions include LAAF, ICCOs.
—PROFESSIONAL PERFORMANCES: opener for the Sing-Off National Tour (Buck That, Ohio); 3 seasons performing at Disneyland (Skeletones); Beatboxer for Rob Dietz's a cappella pilot HIT LIST; several years giving masterclasses and workshops at the Los Angeles A Cappella Festival (LAAF) and around LA; showcase group at the National A Cappella Festival; California A Cappella Festiva (CAF).
