Crunchyroll News: Global Rebrand

As the Director of Editorial for Crunchyroll (the world’s largest anime streaming service) I oversee 50+ team members across 8 languages for digital outlet Crunchyroll News. After building an SEO content strategy balanced for short- and long-term growth across platforms and scaling readership in key international markets (including LATAM, EMEA, and India), I successfully ideated and launched a global rebrand complete with a UX-optimized, scalable website, proprietary headless CMS, customizable SVOD funnels, and a cross-functional go-to-market strategy with PR coverage. In just two years, I shifted CR News from an English-forward blog to an international media outlet which, after successfully acquiring our largest competitor’s editorial team at Funimation won numerous media and marketing awards, boosting traffic 57% for millions of anime fans worldwide.
